The best things come in small packages. Lena might be a small dog, but she has the heart and courage of a lion. She came to live with us in 2010 and is technically speaking Luna’s dog. Even though Luna’s surgery was a full success, Luna wouldn’t recover. We figured she might be lonely and took her to a local shelter where she found Lena. Without Luna expressing that she wanted Lena to live with us, we had never thought about acquiring a terrier. So glad we did. Naturally, Lena has no part in herding, but she is our rodent force and is the first to warm your blankets on a cold winter’s night as well es every other night.
